1-Andrew Hingston was born on 29 Oct 1744 and died on 15 Oct 1834 at age 89. Andrew married Honor Balsom. They had a son: James.
2-James Hingston was born on 27 Jun 1789 in Herodsfoot, Cornwall, England and died on 18 Jul 1849 at Maitland farm, Longford at age 60. James married Elizabeth Thomas on 15 Oct 1818. Elizabeth was born about 1795 and died about 1843 aged about 48. Following Eliza’s death, in 1844 James migrated to Victoria with his seven children. They worked on a sheep station in Barwon but found the weather not to their liking and a year later moved to Bishopsbourne in Tasmania. James and Eliza had seven children: Henry Thomas, Andrew, William Thomas, John Thomas, Elizabeth Jane, James Thomas and Robert Thomas.
3-Henry Thomas Hingston was born in 1820, was christened on 17 Jan 1821 in Newtown Ferrers, England, died on 28 Aug 1904 in Longford, Tasmania at age 84, and was buried in Hagley, Tasmania. Henry married Ann Sarah Bannister on 30 Dec 1843 in Launceston, Tasmania. Ann was born in 1819. They had three children: William James, Andrew Henry and Charlotte Eliza.
4-William James Hingston was born in 1845, died on 2 Feb 1919 at age 74, and was buried in Butleigh Hill Church yard. William married Hephzibah Byard, daughter of James Byard and Anne Elizabeth Sale, on 20 Mar 1866 in Residence of brides parents, Westbury. Hephzibah was born in 1842, died on 24 Oct 1924 at age 82, and was buried in Butleigh Hill Church yard.
4-Andrew Henry Hingston was born on 27 May 1847 in Longford, Tasmania and died on 15 Jan 1924 in Hagley, Tasmania at age 76. Andrew married Margaret Dobson, daughter of William Dobson and Anne Richardson, on 6 May 1868 in Westbury, Tasmania. Margaret was born on 25 Dec 1843 in Launceston, Tasmania and died on 9 Jul 1900 in Hagley, Tasmania at age 56. They had three children: Edmund Tasman (Tas), Leslie Montague and Hubert William Henry. 4-Charlotte Eliza Hingston was born on 10 Aug 1855 in Westbury, Tasmania and died in 1942 in Ulverstone, Tasmania at age 87. Charlotte married George Dobson, son of William Dobson and Anne Richardson, on 24 Jun 1875. George was born on 13 Aug 1850 in Longford, Tasmania and died on 25 Aug 1922 in Gawler, Tasmania at age 72.

William married Rebecca French, daughter of Francis French and Mary Oliver, on 19 Jul 1847 in Longford, Tasmania. Rebecca was born on 21 Sep 1831 in Launceston, Tasmania and died on 14 Jun 1879 in Gawler, Tasmania at age 47. They had 15 children: Elizabeth Jane, Louisa Ann, William Thomas, Charlotte Jane, Lydia Mary, Charlotte Sophia, Fanny Rebecca, Robert Henry, Alfred Charles, Herbert John, Alick James, Annie Maria, Francis Oliver, Edgar Arthur and Oliver Francis. Elizabeth was born in 1837 in Bishopsbourne, Tasmania and died on 5 Mar 1859 in Exton, Tasmania at age 22. They had three children: William Robert, Horace James and Florence Louisa.
