Mary Walker and William Robert Hingston

Mary married William Robert Hingston, son of Robert Thomas Hingston and Elizabeth Dalton Walters, on 17 Aug 1889 in Westbury, Tasmania. William was born on 23 Nov 1866 in Longford, Tasmania and died on 22 Jul 1942 at age 75.

Mary married William Robert Hingston, allegedly an early sweetheart who had fought over Mary during their school days. Mary's attempts at raising a family were even more heartbreaking than her mother, Martha's. She failed to produce children, and finally accepted medical advice that she was unable to do so. The couple adopted a daughter, Zoe, who died without issue.
