Andrew Thomas Walker

3-Andrew Thomas Walker was born on 13 Aug 1882 in Westbury, Tasmania, died on 4 Aug 1960 in Deloraine, Tasmania at age 77, and was buried in Aug 1960 in Deloraine Cemetery D101-1089.

Andrew Thomas, the third son and last child of Michael and Charlotte spent most of his life working on his father's farm and later had a property of his own.  Together with his brother Osborne, Thomas, as he was known, share-farmed part of his father's farm, after Osborne's wife died. His hobby was beekeeping and every home in the district had Thomas' honey on their table. He was also a good axeman and competed at many chopping carnivals around the State.

When his father passed away he helped his mother run the farm which over the years had become quite large as other properties were added. His sister Linda came to keep house when his mother died. Thomas passed away the 4th August, 1960 and is buried in the Deloraine cemetery.
